It is a sad and well known fact that music from the Pacific Islands, notably Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga and Tahiti, is becoming less readily accessible in Holland and the rest of Europe.

While CD's of this kind of music are plentiful in the US and Japan, they are much harder to find elsewhere. If this decline continues, then one of the world's great cultural and musical heritages will be lost to the next generations. They will never be able to listen to and watch the unique technique of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar player, or observe the extraordinary skills on ukulele, slack key guitar or beautiful falsetto voices of the traditional musicians.

To halt this process a cultural foundation has been created known as PACIFICA TOUCH, which is located in Rijswijk (a suburb of The Hague) The Netherlands.
